February is an incredible time of year for homeowners that call Florida home—mostly because temperatures hover in the mid to upper 80s while the rest of the country is in deep freeze weather. Temperatures this week will hover around 82 degrees in Central Florida and presents the perfect opportunity to make some summer staples like Ranch Pork Chops!
Here’s this week’s Whip it Up Wednesday recipe:
One Sheet Ranch Pork Chops
4 (6-8 ounce bone-in pork chops)
1-ounce package of ranch salad dressing mixing
3 tablespoons of minced garlic
1-3 teaspoons of ground salt and pepper (to taste)
1 pound of trimmed green beans
1 pound of small red potatoes sliced in half
Ok, here is the really easy part. Preheat that oven to 400 degrees F. While waiting for the oven to heat up, grease the bottom of a baking pan/sheet.
Following greasing your baking pan/sheet place the pork chops, green beans, and potatoes on the surface of the pan and drizzle with olive oil. In a small bowl, mix in your packet of ranch dressing mix, 2 tablespoons of olive oil, minced garlic and salt, and pepper to taste. Mix well and drizzle over the top of your chops and veggies making sure to evenly distribute.
Place in oven and allow to cook for approximately 20-23 minutes. Broil an additional 2-3 minutes until it’s minimally charred or crispy on top.
THEN, serve and drop the mic.
