5 Central Florida Events Happening this Mother’s Day Weekend

Blooming for Mothers at Ward Park: Saturday, May 12, 2018, from 10 am to 12 pm. Ward Park will be hosting a FREE family-friendly event sponsored by the city’s Parks & Recreation. Kids can decorate a one-of-a-kind flower pot complete with seeds to plant later. 

Mother’s Day Tea at Northwest Church Orlando: Saturday, May 12, 2018, from 10 am to noon. Enjoy light hors d’oeuvres, tea and an afternoon just for mom. Organizers describe the event as a BYOC (bring your own tea cup) and the cost is just $10 per person with proceeds going to the International Justice Mission. 

ALEX AND ANI Mother’s Day Shopping Event in Winter Park: Saturday, May 12, 2018, from 10 am to 3 pm. Do some shopping and treat mom to a new piece of eco-conscience jewelry. The event will also feature a Mom-osa beverage bar, Polaroid photo booth, prizes, a card-making station and more! 

MidFlorida Mayfaire By-The-Lake: Saturday, May 12, 2018 10am to 5pm and Sunday, May 13, from 1pm to 5pm. Lake Morton is the perfect setting for this annual art festival. Sponsored by The Polk Museum of Art, browse one-of-a kind pieces or take one home clay art, a painting, photography and jewelry. Admission is free! 

Lakeland Tropics Outdoor Soccer Game: Saturday, May 12 at 7:00pm. The Lakeland Tropics game kicks off the season and mom will have a ball!  Claim 2 free tickets just for moms!
